I Love Fall.
We build bonfires and sit around them, telling stories and singing songs.
The sun falls on (not-green) leaves, shining through them and turning them to stained glass.
We eat hot soup out of a mug, with triangles of buttered toast and warm, spiced cider.
The cold weather forces us all to bundle in cute jackets and colorful scarves.
The skies are clear and bright blue, a beautiful contrast to the (not-green) leaves.

Hi Laura. Remember me from this : I was in day radiation when you were. I took pictures of you (and your head) outside the clinic. Remember ? I was looking at those and wondered how you were today. Googled your name and - wow you are alive and chatty on a blog. So glad. Tell your mom I thought of you and her. I remember the strength and stress that you both showed.
PS I hope you got the pictures I left for you at the Duke desk. If not I can email if you care (maybe you want to forget)
